Samantha writes: "As a very new weaver (I got my first 8 shaft floor loom less than 6 months ago and before that I’d completed only 3 projects on a rigid heddle loom), I became enamored with deflected double weave. I first saw it in an 8-shaft weaving group on Facebook, and from there I went down the rabbit hole on Pinterest and Instagram finding all the different (already existing) designs I could lay my eyes upon. Plus I adore weaving it up with GIST's beautiful alpaca yarn!"
