Shipping Rates and Times

We ship out orders every weekday and strive to fulfill all orders within 3 business days. Please note that once an order has been placed, it cannot be altered other than to be cancelled. Once an order has been processed for shipping it cannot be cancelled. Be advised that requests for order changes made outside of business hours (9am - 5pm EST, Monday - Friday) may not be possible to accommodate. Also, we cannot hold orders for shipment at a later date. Thank you for your understanding.

If your shipping address requires that both a physical address and PO box are listed due to local post requirements, please contact us at hello@gistyarn.com to confirm your address upon placing an order. 

Domestic US Shipping

We offer two shipping speeds: standard shipping (7-10 business days) and priority shipping (2-4 business days).

All US orders over $165 to the contiguous 48 states ship free with standard shipping.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be calculated based on the weight of the order at checkout. 

International Shipping

• All international *yarn* orders over $175 USD ship for a flat rate of $35 to Canada, $65 to Australia and New Zealand, and $50 to the rest of the world (if they are under 10 lbs). No coupon code needed, this will automatically show up at checkout.
• All Canadian *yarn* orders under $175 USD ship for a flat rate of $22. 
• If you are interested in purchasing a loom internationally, please contact us for a shipping quote. The website does not automatically calculate the correct shipping price for a loom, and not all of our vendors permit us to sell to non-US addresses. 
• International shipping rates for all other orders are calculated at checkout depending on the weight and destination.
• Unfortunately due to Brexit, the minimum order amount for customers in the UK is $200 USD. You must have at least $200 in your cart to be able to checkout.
• Please note that you are responsible for all customs/duties fees charged by your country when the package arrives.

Weaving Equipment

Schacht looms and weaving equipment are made to order and typically ship in 4-6 weeks. LeClerc typically ships in 2-6 weeks. Ashford in-stock items ship immediately. Please contact us with any further questions about specific delivery windows. 

Sales Tax

We charge sales tax on orders shipped to the following states:

• California
• Maryland
• Massachusetts (yarn is not taxed in Massachusetts)
• Michigan
• Pennsylvania
• Rhode Island
• South Carolina
