I have not had an opportunity to use the 8/2 Licorice, but have used the 8/2 Organic Cotton in Natural for tea towels and loved it…

Beam 8/2 cotton is a beautiful, strong cotton that weaves up into a sturdy yet soft fabric. The colors are lovely. I am enjoying weaving with it; it feels good in my hands and the results are very satisfying.
My warp is Beam in Natural 8/2 cotton. My weft is various colors of Duet. I loved both the Beam and Duet. I have another 4 yards of warp on my loom which I am going to weave additional towels in another set of Duet colors that I have. The weave structure is Monk Belt. I was very pleased with the results. The towels washed beautifully. All the towels will be gifts for friends.
