Sero Silk Noil

Love the softness, drape, and texture of the Sero Silk Noil weaving yarn. The description of it says that it can be used for warp or weft - I’d stick with it as just weft. I’ve had two warp yarns break in the past. It pairs wonderfully with other yarns of similar thickness for warp.

I love the delicacy and softness of the finished product. I’ve used various colors in this line and find it to be perfect for doing Leno Lace and pick up stick weaving

Static

I like the way this yarn feels but the static build-up causes difficulties for me.

Revisiting weaving records

Gist yarn suggested Sero silk noil in a scarf threaded in a Log Cabin pattern suitable for Rigid Heddle or 4 harness floor loom. I've chosen the scarf kit to revisit a favorite tea towel pattern- Log Cabin for our Warped Weavers Guild Study Group year project.
