The 38" Zeus Loom is Mirrix's largest loom and is perfect for large tapestries, rugs or bead weavings. It was designed to be large enough to accommodate a small traditionally sized rug. While able to make a piece 35" x 61", it can easily be moved from room to room or driven to a workshop while providing a weaving space usually reserved for large, heavy, immobile floor looms. Unlike his larger cousins, the Zeus Loom can easily be stored when not in use because of his slim Mirrix physique. Warping the entire width of the loom will take no more than an hour once you've nailed the process down. He also provides better tension than most wooden floor looms, having the strength of double aluminum bottom and top beams, and the shedding device is easy and efficient to operate.
Paired with a Mirrix Loom Stand and a Spencer Treadle, the Zeus Loom becomes a floor loom for a fraction of a floor loom’s cost and a way smaller foot print. You don’t have to fill up our entire weaving space to have a loom that produces large rugs or tapestries. He takes only seconds to put on or take off the stand. The treadle attaches and un-attaches just as easily so you can easily dismantle the set-up and just take the loom with you.
