Weaver's PlayBox # 2 ~ Cotton and Linen

I am very pleased with the yarns chosen. However, I was really looking forward to weaving something using the Fibonacci
sequence and was somewhat puzzled by the actual instructions for warping. The Fibonacci is based on starting with a number, and adding the next number to get a result: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. The towel shown is nice, but not Fibonacci. Anyway, I am looking forward to using some yarns new to me - and spending the winter hours with some lovely colors and textures.

As with other reviewers, I am from Canada which makes these kits very expensive, but…
I really like this opportunity to try new fibre, some of which I can source in Canada. The tips and hints for weaving were really helpful and informative. . I would advise making larger towels than what was instructed as the towels that came off the loom after washing were not useful for much.

Amazing selection of yarns. Multiple ways to mix and match the yarns to allow for individual creativity. Directions are concise and clear.

I bought this weaving box on a whim and I am very happy with it. The instructions are very well put together with lots of tips and pictures. The choice of yarn is great and I really like the colours. Everytime I order something from Gist, it gets shipped fast and I have never had a problem. Thank you for putting this all together and making it so easy.
