I was drawn to this pattern by the design. It has depth and contrasting colors which adds interest. It's perkier than just plain weave and can be adapted to so much more - vest, poncho, scarf, placemats with matching napkins, coasters, etc. Even choosing different colors to switch the dark and light colors to the opposite wil create a new emphasis. I will enjoy playing with this pattern!

I did not make the runner, I made a tote bag! Heavier yarns and a bit tighter sett made a sturdy but flexible material. I used for a tote bag with card woven handles. It turned out better than expected. Thank you for the instructions and inspiration
