Name Draft Cuddle Blankets

Designed by Penny Lacroix

These 100% organic cotton blankets are perfect for little ones to snuggle with. One cone of Beam 8/2 makes two blankets, ensuring there's always a spare when one goes in the wash. Woven from a Name Draft, Penny encoded her granddaughter’s name into the warp and weft, making them uniquely personal with an edgy diagonal symmetry. Order a kit.

Name drafts

Search “name drafts weaving”. There’s a good explanation by Janet Dawson, as well as others. Basically it’s a method of creating a unique threading pattern but it’s more complicated than I can explain in a comment.

Curious

A question, really, rather than a review. What is meant by 'Penny encoded her granddaughter’s name into the warp and weft'? I do not see a name, or anything resembling one. Can someone explain, please?
