Today on the podcast, I'm talking to Susan Horton, the Editor of Handwoven Magazine! This is an episode I’ve been looking forward to for a long time, and I imagine many of you who have love Handwoven will be excited to listen to this one. I have very distinct memories of learning to weave in 2009, and taking stacks of old Handwoven magazines home from my weaving class to pore over each weekend. This conversation with the fabulous Susan Horton gives a peek behind the scenes of the making of Handwoven - Susan shares about her journey to becoming Editor, her tips for submitting projects or article to Handwoven, what a week-in-the-life of working on Handwoven is like, her tips for weavers, and so much more. Very nice to learn about the inside working of Handwoven. I treasure the old issues I have collected. Space is at a premium so I replace them with the digital version. Leading through the actual paper is more satisfying.
