I've been getting *so* many requests from you all to do an episode on rigid heddle weaving, and I'm excited to share a fabulous one with you this week! I talked to Liz Gipson, founder of Yarnworker, a fantastic resource and teaching community for rigid heddle weavers. Liz is a former managing editor of Handwoven and Spin-Off magazines, she has made many guest appearances on HGTV, DIY, and PBS how-to craft programming, and has multiple DVDs from Interweave on rigid heddle weaving. She is also the author of Weaving Made Easy and Handwoven Home. We talked about Liz's tips for brand new rigid heddle weavers, why she founded Yarnworker, why every weaver needs more than one loom, and lot's more. Comment below to continue the conversation!

I have been toying with the idea of getting into weaving and purchasing my first rigid heddle loom but there is so much to learn that it scares me a little bit! It was interesting listening to Liz’s podcast and amazing to learn that she started at CSU which is also my alma mater. I see so many gorgeous woven projects that I would love to make so I guess Liz said it best when she said to just gets loom and do it!
