Beam 8/2 is a workhorse yarn you’ll reach for again and again, ideal for towels, table linens and lightweight scarves or shawls. It is wonderful for traditional twill structures and as the ground and tabby yarn in overshot when paired with Beam 3/2 or 3/4.
I love Beam yarn colors and quality in all sizes. Recently wove some beautiful towels using the 8/2 cotton and wanted to make more. Looking forward to weaving with the colors I just received.

I have not had an opportunity to use the 8/2 Licorice, but have used the 8/2 Organic Cotton in Natural for tea towels and loved it…
