Clasped Weft Towels

Designed by Jennifer Mao

This elegant and minimalist towel pattern utilizes a variation of a technique known as three-color Clasped Weft to create a clean, geometric shape. These towels are woven with two contrasting colors, which highlight the texture of the Mallo Cotton Slub and create a unique marled affect. Order a kit.

Note: this pattern uses almost all of the Mallo Steel. If your loom requires more waste please purchase an additional cone.

Fun!

This is a technique worth learning. As usual, Gist puts out well-written instruction. The design possibilities with clasped weft are endless!
