Fun project

I really have enjoyed making these pillows! I used a thread I already had for the weft as I was concerned I would run short. I can see where there could be a shortage on the yarn if I had not used the yarn I already had. I do like these two yarns, though. I pulled two arm lengths for each row of yarn and had a little left over with 11 picks in between each.

So many great choices!

The yarns I've chosen to order through Gist have turned into wonderful projects on my looms. I was part of the early group who pre-ordered linen Duet, and I've enjoyed weaving a number of projects with this yarn. I have also ordered several cones of Mallo that turned into simple plain weave fabric that has a beautifully lacy look. I am a happy customer!

Love the yarn and pattern, but wish it had more wiggle room

I’ve finished weaving two Gosling pillow covers on my rigid heddle loom and love the color combination and overall result. However, there was very little yarn left once I was done and throughout the weaving process I was a bit worried that I’d run out. I understand not wanting to include too much yarn and increase the price, but just be mindful of your use to make sure you don’t run out.

Gosling pillows

The Gosling pillows are so adorable and at first I was bummed the instructions were not for the rigid heddle loom but, wait! There was an adaptation for the rigid heddle loom. Thanks for making your instructions for a wider range of looms! And they are easy to follow.
