Plain weave is anything but plain when woven in Mallo. The thick-and-thin nature of this cotton slub creates an elegant, delicate texture, even in the simplest of weaves. Slightly thicker than many weaving yarns, Mallo weaves up quickly on both rigid heddle and multi-shaft looms. It’s the softest loveliest yarn I’ve worked with, and now I’m spoiled for life as it is all I ever want to use! It weaves into a beautiful soft, warm scarf with delightful texture. I’ve also made towels out of it and love them!
I have woven many baby blankets from this soft and beautiful yarn. It is forgiving, has a lovely drape and comes in so many soft and compatible colors. I will keep coming back to Mallo Slub.
